Here you get step-by-step instructions showing how to construct a very simple machine capable of bending a radius in pipe to any desired angle from 0 to 180 degrees. And with the proper dies, square tubing solid round rod and flat bar can be formed as well.
The frame of the machine is built entirely from easy to find, 1/4″ x 2″ H.R.S. flat bar. Other things you will need are a welder to assemble the frame, a few common hand tools, a drill press, jig saw and a few nuts and bolts that are easily found at the hardware store.
You will discover how easy it is to construct bending dies made of hardwood. And you will be amazed to see how well the perform. Dies can be made to bend any size pipe you might want up to the 1″ diameter capacity of the machine.
