Description
Rudy’s Model Steam Tractor by Rudy Kouhoupt showcases one of Rudy’s most popular earlier works. This book has complete plans to make a 3/4-inch scale model steam tractor. Based on a full-size J.I. Case but is not an exact replica. This excellent, well written book has full text and plans. It has the additional feature of construction info and an assortment of photos that clearly show tractor components. The model steam Tractor is alcohol fired, will run at 30 PSI. Five gears on the right-hand side of the tractor transmit power from the crankshaft to the rear wheels. These excellent plans give practical know-how about engines, metals & machining.
Rudy personally hand-drew the illustrations in this book and gently enhanced them using a modern CAD program, preserving their original craftsman’s touch.
Spiralbound, 80 pages, illustrated.
